2005 –- Take Pride in America National Award from the U.S. Department of the Interior

2005 – N.J. Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Excellence Award for Land Conservation for its work in assisting the land conservation work of so many northern New Jersey towns.

2005 – Governor’s Volunteer Award for Volunteer Administration/Management recognizing outstanding individuals for their spirit of service to make this state a better place for all people, awarded for administering and managing the Partners for Parks program.

2004 – Business Partner Award from Somerset County Association of Young Professionals for providing a community service day

2004 – Volunteer Service Award from Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge for the significant contribution of 500 hours of volunteer service

1999 – 2004 - Outstanding Volunteer Service Recognition from Morristown National Historical Park and Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge for contributing toward the conservation and management of natural resources.

2000 – 2004 Corporate Philanthropy Awards from the Stephen and Mary Birch Foundation, recognizing excellence in service and commitment to the community.

2002 – New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Watershed Management Award for the Clyde Potts Watershed preservation project

2002 – Watershed Stewardship Award to the Partners for Parks program from the Whippany River Watershed Action Committee for public stewardship of natural resources and watershed habitat improvement.

2000 – Volunteer Service Award to the Partners for Parks program from Morristown National Historical Park for dedicated services in assisting the park in preserving the natural resources of America’s treasures.

1999 - AT&T Champions of the Environment Award from AT&T for promoting a spirit of community, diversity, and equal opportunity.

1998 - Environmental Achievement Award from the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions for distinguished effort on behalf of New Jersey’s local environment.

1995 -- American Greenways DuPont Award for building the Farny Highlands Trails system

Citations, Proclamations, and Resolutions

 2006 – Proclamation from the township of Rockaway for the many years of dedicated services the Conservancy has devoted to the Rockaway Township residents.

 2006 – Proclamation from the community of Florham Park to the valuable and generous contributions the Morris Land Conservancy Partners for Parks has demonstrated to ensure continued improvement and beautification to the Borough of Florham Park.

2006 – Certificate of Commendation by the County of Bergen New jersey honoring Morris Land Conservancy’s 25 years of Land Preservation.

2006 – Citation from Franck R. Lautenberg, United States Senator, State of New Jersey, for the Morris Land Conservancy’s 25 years of Land Preservation.

2003 – Citation from Township of Livingston for work done by the Partners for Parks program and for the Conservancy’s overall efforts to preserve open space.

2003 - Resolution by Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders for assistance in the creation of the newly acquired Rahway River Parkway, Rahway section, Michael S. Bezega Wetland Observation Area

2003 – Acknowledgement of Donation for the Conservancy’s donation of land along the Wallkill River from the New Jersey Natural Lands Trust.

2003 – Acknowledgement from Great Swamp National Refuge for the significant contribution and volunteer service of over 500 hours.

2002 – Resolution of Appreciation from the New Jersey Legislature for 20 years of unwavering dedication to the preservation and stewardship of open space.

2001 – Resolution of Appreciation from the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders for 20 years of outstanding achievements providing leadership and guidance to municipalities throughout northern New Jersey.

1999 – Certificate of Appreciation from United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service for the leadership and support in the Great Swamp Partnership Visitor Facility Planning Initiative National Partnership for Reinventing Government for Morris Land Conservancy’s contribution to building a government that works better and costs less.
